Access iCloud Data on the Web
iCloud Data Protection
Recommended
Turn off web access to your iCloud data unless you regularly use iCloud.com.
What this setting does
Turning off web access limits iCloud data such as Mail, Contacts, Calendar, Photos, Notes, Reminders, files, and documents to your trusted devices. This removes the browser as a direct route to that data and means someone attempting to access it must instead gain access through a trusted device.
Important notes
Find My remains available at iCloud.com/find even when web access to iCloud data is turned off.
If Advanced Data Protection is enabled, web access to iCloud data is turned off automatically. You can turn web access back on if needed, but access to protected data requires approval from one of your trusted devices.
In iOS 26.4 or later, Apple places this control under iCloud.com → Allow Data Access. Earlier versions show it directly in iCloud settings as Access iCloud Data on the Web.
