Apple Account Contact Information

Apple Account Access & Authentication

Essential

Review the email addresses and phone numbers associated with your Apple Account. Remove anything you do not recognize or no longer control.

What this setting does

The email addresses and phone numbers associated with your Apple Account are part of your account identity and security. Apple allows the email addresses and phone numbers on file to be used to sign in to your account, while trusted phone numbers can receive verification codes for two-factor authentication. Keeping this information accurate helps ensure that only contact methods you recognize and control remain associated with your account.

Important notes

Review the email addresses and phone numbers shown under Sign-In & Security and make sure you recognize and still control each one. Apple allows you to change or remove email addresses associated with your account from this section.

Trusted phone numbers used for two-factor authentication are managed separately under Sign-In & Security → Two-Factor Authentication. Apple requires at least one trusted phone number and recommends considering an additional trusted number that isn't tied to your iPhone, so you can still receive verification codes if the phone is lost or damaged.

This review does not require sharing your email addresses or phone numbers with Clouds & Keys. You only need to confirm that the information shown by Apple is current and belongs to you.
